Kelly Burley
Director, Common Bonds
Kelly Burley serves as director of a Collective Impact initiative of Kirkpatrick Foundation that is uniting communities on behalf of humane outcomes for cats and dogs. Burley is an Oklahoma native with more than thirty years of experience in public media and advocacy communications, serving previously as station director for KOSU, the NPR member station owned by Oklahoma State University, and as associate state director for AARP Oklahoma. During his career, Kelly has been recognized for broadcast journalism excellence with three national Edward R. Murrow awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association and two national awards from the Scripps Howard Foundation. He attended Oklahoma State University, earning his undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism and graduate degree in mass communications. Kelly and his wife Lisa live in Stillwater. They have two grown children, Kara and Clint, and two rescue dogs, Bo and Arrow.
