Paul Kirbas
President and CEO of the Graduate Theological Foundation
Paul J Kirbas is the President and CEO of the Graduate Theological Foundation, where he also serves as the Paul Tillich Professor of Theology and Culture. He holds a Doctor of Ministry and a PhD in Nature and Theology, and has been appointed as a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics. He is the editor of This Sacred Earth, published by Wyndham Hall Press, and is a contributing author in a 2022 volume called Bearing Witness: Animal Loss in the Anthropocene, produced jointly by the University of California in Santa Barbara and the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. He was the creator and host of the tv program “Animals in the Kingdom”, that ran for 2 years on a national network. Paul and his wife Jennifer are both Presbyterian Ministers and members of the Indian Nations Presbytery. They live in Oklahoma City.
