Amy Johnson

Amy Johnson received a BFA in Graphic Design from Iowa State University and then completed her MFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Johnson currently teaches graphic design at the graduate and undergraduate level at the University of Central Oklahoma where she also serves as the Director of the School of Design. She specializes in teaching Professional Practice and Design for Good through her courses, Clocktower and Inktank. Design for Good, defined as design that plays a catalytic role through projects that create positive social impact, is a key outcome of these student-run studios. The focus is on real work, real clients, real impacts. Amy is an AIGA Fellow and a 99u fellow.
